Simplifying: how and why?

Learning session · the first in a series

On 8 August, the Simple’School Community is holding its first learning session dedicated to the methodologies and frameworks of the Voluntary Simplicity.

We will incorporate practices of body awareness, meditation and skilful means to take action locally — an invitation to reflect on our individual choices and to cultivate a healthier life, full of meaning, presence and mindful freedom.

Simplifying doesn’t mean living a less full life. It means making room to live more mindfully.

What we’re going to explore

Principles and guidelines of Voluntary Simplicity
Body awareness and meditation in everyday life
Effective ways of turning intention into local action
More mindful choices in relationships, consumption and how we spend our time
